|
|
Well the topic speaks for itself, so what is the best TMP out there aside from coding the entire thing yourself.
I know Cheat Engine trainer lacks a lot, would be sweet if it gets updated with button options and extended features (custom buttons, background image).
I have tried TMK (which is nice, but lacks the pointer function), and have tried GTS 2.0 (Which I can't get the pointer function to work on that).
I have the pointer function working on CE, and it works perfect for address that change every time you restart the game, but CE trainer options/features falls short.
Thank You,

no, not with the beta one... i don't think so...
also, if you want to make your trainers, start off with something easy like visual basic 6.0

| GTS is good (game trainer studio). Nice options with very small compiled .exe size (due to ASM). But in all honesty, coding it yourself is the better option, even if it's plain easy VB (you can do more than what most think in the language).

this is dumb, VB6 has no support, it's a dead language.

don't use VB, go with C#. anyone who suggest VB is clueless.
C# is a better language in every conceivable way. much more elegance with all the "easy" you want.

I hope you're not suggesting that i'm clueless?! Lol. I use C++ now and would never use anything else. However, I initially used VB, when doing my earliest trainers and many people have found it to be the easiest route to go to start producing their own stuff, hence my mere mention of the language. No-one I know who started gamehacking with no prior coding knowledge took several months out to learn enough C++, learn about Win32API or MFC for the GUI and went on to do it. It's just not seen as worth it for the odd trainer release. Chill out with the harsh replies bud.

You're amazingly thin-skinned if you think my opinion was harsh.
If one wants to do something involving programming as a hobby without investing work, well, it isn't going to work. What do you expect? It really doesn't matter what language someone starts out with... but doesn't it make sense to learn with a sane, modern one? VB has no purpose in existing outside of whatever horrible legacy garbage it's supporting.

Slovach, you should stop flaming VB6 so much. You of all people should know that a good portion of the CEF goers won't ever stick with C#. They'll try it out, find that it's hard and boring then quit. Why not interest them in a RAD language to peak their interest? Then when they are ready they can move on to something else. Such as one of the C languages.
Honestly, a lot of people start with a BASIC language and move up when they can't accomplish what they need with it.
I'll wager you started with a BASIC language.
And by the way, a hobbyist programmer can throw any amount of work into their program in any amount of time. Just because they program as a hobby does not mean that they are bad programmers who can't do squat with their language. I don't know why you threw that opinion in there. A lot of us are hobbyist's who work during the day and find it fun to write programs.

VB6 is a dead language, there is no point to using it. There is no support for it any more, get over it.
C# is a RAD language, you've obviously confused it with something else. (Hint: it's a far cry from C/C++) C# has far more support than VB.NET does within it's circles did I mention that sharp developers are often paid better?
But I guess nice job trying to argue against something when you don't know what it is, so you're basically propagating nonsense.

| There isn't a huge difference between VB.Net and C# .Net - they offer very similar capabilities with somewhat different language structure and naming. C# currently is somewhat more popular, but either make a good choice - VB.Net may be easier if programmers have had prior experience with VB 6.
