I'm sure the computers are just fine, for the components. However, at the risk of breaking rule eleven, if you're up to buying parts and putting together a "seven piece puzzle," you could save considerably.

Alienware is the best, thier machines hit the top in gaming. But as for thier prices, it's not cheap, since they provide your machine with the best parts and performance.

and have crap for customer support and often take weeks long to ship. me and several of my friends have tried it. though if you dont mind that,and prices then yes. alienware is good if you have money to burn

Well, I don't know about your experience guys, but mine was good. Their prices are overpriced indeed considering if you want to customize your own normal machine and not alienware machine.

well, if you really want good performance like alienware and you think its overpriced

just write down the specs of the alienware product you want and buy them from the store

so thats alienware performance without the alienware price

same performance, less money needed to buy

Yep, if you want to give them $300-500 extra cash for taking 10-15min. to build the computer go ahead, but I say build your own its not hard at all.

yeah its not really that hard, most hardware have installation instructions

when you build your own pc, and dont know anything about it, all you need is the instuctions that came with the hardware

I have an alienware and only thing I repent is that I bought it 1 month before the quad core for laptops release... laptops prices went down for 1000$ ... soo I bought mine for 2400$ and the next month you could buy the same laptop for something about 1400$ .... xP

anyways. it works fine and I just love my alienware laptop.

on desktops the one that catches my eye is the alienware Perfection, the one that is being sold already overclocked. so you got that advantage, also adding soem alienware only features like Alienware Adrenaline and the customs that makes them as sexy as they are. I think its totally worth it.
