Here's a small revision fix that makes dbvm a bit more compatible with newer systems like core i7

quick question about dbvm since I have no clue on how to test or verify this, but how much delay does it cause (you might have misunderstood me)
in terms of lag, since emulators have efficiency factors of ranging from 2 all the way to 10, is this apparent with dbvm?

In realmode emulation there is some lag(instructions emulated in software), so startup is a bit slower, but once it's switched to protected mode (32-bit/64-bit) it's hardly noticable. Instructions are executed by real hardware.
Also, no need to emulate the graphics card or other devises (except perhaps the keyboard and mouse if people wish to) so no delay there either
I ran unreal 3 with 115 fps before, and 111 fps after, and that could even just be a random miscalculation

Is this the same version of DBVM that is provided with CE5.6?
Also, is the source for the latest version of DBVM available via the link that is provided on the home page where it was originally opened up?
Thanks,
creo

no, the one in 5.6 is a newer version (continued from this one)
I haven't had the opportunity yet to put the sourcecode on the main website yet (it's on a completely different system which I only use when working on the dbvm code) but if I get time I'll see about putting it up (after doing some redesign work to make the code cleaner)
anyhow, an older version of the dbvm source can be downloaded here:
