I'm going through some tutorials from XNA creators club to get started in this Microsoft Game Studio 3.0. it was easier than I though it was going to be, mostly because its all in C# and have lots of help tags.

but this video tutorials are made like.. dumb proof.... takes a life to complete a step that could have been done in less than a minute xP

kinda pisses me off...
I'm finishing the 2D game tutorial and I will start with the 3D one tomorrow.

soo..expect a CEF simple Game soon ;3

I'm going to start with the 3D game tutorial now

I recently started learning C# XNA, because I've had so much irritation with C++ and engines and what not. I prefer using the tutorials in the XNA though for coding, rather than the videos.

With the help of just the tutorial for how to load 2D sprites, I made a 2 player game with movement and boxed area. I learned how to make it 2 player just by thinking a little and read one of the XNA entries for keystroke/controller movement.

Overall, I like XNA and once I've learned a little more and gotten a product that works well on the PC, I'm going to purchase an XNA premium membership in order to port it to my Xbox 360.

after finishing with this XNA I'll start with DirectX and C++
since I started to notice that XNA is getting a bit limited xP

XNA shouldn't be limiting at all...

It lets you handle all the low level rendering stuff, you can write the shaders, etc. Skyboxes, lighting, sprites, post processing and on and on.

Nothing's stopping you from implementing more advanced features, like quadtrees, octrees, whatever form of scene management you want, so on and so forth.
