I don't think this belongs in the request section, but it has to do with art.
I need to decide. Tablets. Very new concept to me. What the hell is the best, whats cheep yet great, especially for beginners.
I've looked at Wacom and I'm thinking bamboo or intuos. Thing is, my job never pulled through so I'm kinda broke. So should I save for a small-med intuos or just get a bamboo and save later for better? Or are there other worthy options?

The Bamboo is pretty much what everyone uses now. But I would get an Intuos if I could afford one. So if you can afford an Intuos, get it.

*I have $400! Just need $600 more to buy the Cintiq that I want!*

K, so I think I've decided on the bamboo, but where did you get yours so cheap? I remember you saying you got yours for about 60 or 70. On the Wacom site its $80.
And have you ever needed replacement nubs? How sturdy are they?

The regular (cheapest) bamboo is only A6.
Which, as a beginner is probably a good idea.

This is true. I am currently using the smallest bamboo(A5) and the size can really get in the way which is why I would suggest anybody who plans on using it frequently to get the larger bamboo sizes if possible, even though they cost considerably more.
