I know it's easy as fuck, but eclipse makes it so fucking confusing.
If anyone has any experience in scripting with eclipse mmorpg engine (i use it because it's easy) and is happy to work with a completely custom tileset and such, pm me. I already have a dev to help me with mapping, items, npcs, etc.
The games name is Legends of northgaurd, and i'm planning on using everything custom. The reason i'm asking for a scripter is because i have absolutely no clue where to put things.

Just posing a question, but if you're going to get a person to make the maps and items etc, AND a coder to code everything for you, what part do you play in its production?

I'm the pixel artist and i also help with the maps, items, etc. So far, i do the most work.
And to "Holly", i tried a tut, but never seemed to understand it.

That's a contradiction.
And I remember doing this a while back, when I was 12. And I had no experience programming whatsoever. And I used no tutorial at all, I just looked at some examples that were provided.

If it was all that hard, they would charge hundreds of dollars.

Because to them, it's fun?
You have so much to account for, it's no shortage of work.
Graphics...
- How do you handle drawing?
- What API?
- How about speed? How are you handling the culling, etc?
- Fancy shaders?
- Sprites, tiles, oh my...
Sound...
- What kind of sound system?
- Use an existing library?
- Does it cover the streaming / mixing, etc?
Input...
- What kind of input?
- Windows messages? Raw input? DirectInput?
- Just keyboard and mouse? Joypad?
Networking...
- What type of networking layer? UDP, TCP?
- Does it need to be reliable?
- Fast?
- How about all the fancy voodoo to keep things looking smooth?
Filesystem...
- How do we handle the reading / writing of files?
- Someone has to write the loader for whatever file format...
- Oh god
Toolset...
- Game has to get made somehow...
- Map editor, etc
AI...
- Does it need pathfinding?
- What kind?
- I'm tired of listing things
Now somehow wrap that up into a nice, usable format. That's just scratching the surface...
