Learn how to code, then learn how to maintain audience and attract players, let them have fun and stay around.

That's not a concern, main concern game developers have with hackers is if LEGITIMATELY PLAYERS QUIT BECAUSE OF HACKERS, ideally if there is no disturbance between a cheater and a legit player, there usually is not much work put into it. (Look at wow, they ban after reports - not after automatic ban haxx)

google asgamer tutorials... learn as3.

then learn about xml sockets in flash, possibly get/buy smartfoxserver or electroserver (they are the easiest to begin with imo)

plan your game, build it, then post a link when you're done in a year+

I HAVE A SOLUTION
When i was 9, i used something called Xtremeworlds.
It's a free mmorpg engine that requires no scripting at all, and is very easy to set up.
Of course, I've moved on to larger things, but i highly recommend it for beginners, and NOT eclipse, because it requires scripting to make a single quest.

Things I would do:

Learn ActionScript 2 and 3 for the client

Learn Java, any C languages or VB for the sever

Once you get good enough at those, buy a website and create a server to host your client.
