It looks like you just threw random colors on the blank page and obtained a ship lol.

What are you laughing at him for? Yes it's vector, but it still needs more details. You can't use that as an excuse.

Take your time and build up a piece with lots of detail. You just have to be patient and committed.

So i was correct..Sorry.. im not sure whats an 'vector art' is. I think its alot of pen tooling layers made in photoshop?

Vector art is when the piece of art you produce is drawn in a program that draws in vectors, that is that every point, line, curve, shape etc. you make is an equation based on the points you draw on (like on a graph for example), when you zoom in on the picture it redraws itself based on those equations meaning it never loses quality.

The opposite of which is bitmap graphics, which Photoshop works with. These are drawn in real-size with pixels and upon zooming it you just expose each individual picture. This makes Photoshop redundant for work with logo and text.
