Right now I have a Asus P5VD2-MX SE Motherboard but it I dont think it support any overclocking, i try searching on google on how to overclock with that motherboard but found no answers. Am using Intel Celeron DD CPU 3.46 GHz could this Cpu be overclocked to a higher speed?

So yeah I need help getting a motherboard that will support overclocking for Intel CPU's, since am going to upgrade to a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz later on.

My budget range is $100~$250 CAD.

The GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L is what you're looking for. Goes for a little under $120 CAD. That is, unless you're using two ATI cards in Crossfire, then I'd say to go with the more-expensive ASUS P5Q Pro.

You can't go wrong with the EP45-DS3L Wink . But I've heard the energy saving stuff doesn't work well, so many people flash to a regular BIOS. If you want CrossFire, the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P is sweet.

I'd forgotten what model it was for Gigabyte w/ Crossfire, was too lazy to filter it out. Laughing
