I have troubles when it comes to locating the TMK project file and building the trainer itself. When I save a project, I can't seem to find the TMK project file any where. Is it suppose to be in the TMK install location (because when I looked, it wasn't there)? And when I build the trainer, where is the trainer stored? Is it meant to be stored in the TMK install location as well?
Thanks for all your help in advanced.

uhm TMK is old, really old. And which OS you are using, i doubt it would work on newers ones such as Vista,7. Had issues on XP as well. I have no idea about tmk though so can't help you with that.
I'd suggest learning a language instead, there are several trainer template available in several languages that you can use without much probs. Much better choice than TMK.

According to this POST it gets saved in :\Program Files\Trainer Maker Kit.
You could also try saving it in a custom location. I used tmk when i first started out and i think the project folder wouldnt have the actual name, just some numbers or something. The trainer would be inside that folder.
Or try using windows to search for the project name.
STN is right, you should learn a language. I started with a C# template. Its very easy to make trainers with it and 100X better than tmk.

C/C++, mASM. mASM is gold, if you want to be serious about gamehacking, then learning masm would only make you get better in ghing. Also the fact that there are plenty of nice, easy trainer template available in masm.
I personally started with masm. I can't say anything about .NET languages, however its probably much better choice than TMK since you'd have a lot of power than you can ever have in TMK.
It won't be easy, learning a language takes time, however the templates will get you started in mins, you will understand the template with time and practice.
Good luck!

I did try and learn C# once (uncle's recommendation), but that didn't go so well since I don't have enough time to learn it; due to school work and assignments :/ But thank you STN for the suggestions.

if you have created a project named suppose empire2.
and your tmk is installed in the default directory then your tmk project file will be
C:\Program Files\Trainer Maker Kit\empire2\empire2.pjt
empire2.pjt is your project file.
