Ok, to clear up some of the posts on how to fix your computer in this section, I decided to post this.

After you have downloaded one of the softwares below, scan with whichever one you have. I recommend superantispyware, it fixes nearly everything. After this, remove everything it finds. You should be clear by now.
Note: Remember to update Super AntiSpyware every time before a scan! This will keep you up to date with the latest threats.
Otherwise, terminate any unknown process.
Software

SuperAntiSpyware - Recommended by me, this software has fixed me up multiple times. I have never had to use anything else for my computer spyware! Download free edition: http://www.superantispyware.com/

Spybot S&D - Removes some things, still good to have Very Happy. Download if you want though.

http://safer-networking.org/index2.html

Malwarebytes Antimalware - Recommended by me, it detected my spyware and removed it just like Super Antispyware. I have all three of these antispyware softwares Very Happy.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

I normally scan with all three at once and leave my comp on for a few hours, then fix everything that it finds! It works pretty well.

Spyware Blaster - Don't know about this..
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

HijackThis - I don't know about this, I don't use it. But you can download it from:http://hijackthis.de/.
After scanning, go to http://hijackthis.de/ again, and upload your log file.

Go to the downloads page, get their basic firewall for free.

Tips from Blank online:

1. Know where the hell you're going when you get online.
2. Know what the hell they're downloading.
3. Use a secure browser.
4. Common sense and computer literacy. [Oh shit... this windows firewall thing is bothering me about viruses when it really isn't an anti-virus... wait.. what.]
Hope this was helpful to you!

Good list, but a couple of obvious points I should note here.

Firstly, you say near the beginning after listing super-antispyware that "I have never had to use anything else for my computer viruses!". This is incorrect as it is not an anti-virus application.

Also, "Avast - Recommended by me, I use it, it has blocked many hackers for me so far". Avast is an anti-virus not a firewall. It doesn't function in anyway to prevent hacker attacks or intrusions.

Lastly, if you are going to make such a list, don't be so opinionated. You say something does or doesn't work for you, yet you have only used them in certain cases to remove certain infections. Definitions and programs are updated all the time, and the 'wild' is constantly changing each minute (ie the cloud... the web... all the nasties out there in it).

I recommend buying your own antivirus software for maximum protection. Spyware/malware software is still good if it's free, though.

Yes, you can buy your own, but there really isn't a use. Norton in my opinion isn't good, and Avast + Antispyware scanning every week provides enough protection.

First off Why isn't Commodo Firewall listed up there? It'd kick Zonealarm's ass any day. Also.. COmmodo released their own Antivirus now =)

That thread is nearly the same as this, I was just trying to explain that you should scan your system for a virus before posting here. In otherwords: try to fix the virus yourself.

I disagree with the person saying to sticky as it strays from topic and also isn't very organized and as to the anti-virus a lot of hacking programs come up with false positives and from experience NOD32 really hasn't failed me it rarely detects false positives which is good for me but almost always gets the real viruses as for the viruses that it doesn't detect I also have Norton Anti-Virus and I forget if it was Avast but I am pretty sure it was so nothing really gets through this way.

Ill fix it up when I have time. You have to know that I did this for two reasons.
1. Cause I was bored.
2. In hopes it might help others.
