Damn, I have a BIG question to ask y'all...Its related to anti-debugger protection...
DarkByte, you told us how to disable it using Process Memory [the +bc thingie...]. That works, but not for all games. Indeed, SecuROM onez do work like that. But...for ex : Thief Deadly Shadows is protected by SecuROM. Since I used a cracked .exe, the bytes resided @ EIP+bc are always 00 00 00 00. I fixed the debugger detection by ticking the 'Try preventing debugger detection'. It worked for this game...
Now the question ? How can I disable this debugger detection protection for good ? I mean, never having to worry about it.
I got this game, Second Sight, which btw is Star Force protected. It allows me to use the debugger, but nothing happens. Also, the method u described doesn't work [the 4 bytes are all 00]. I saw something like 'debugsilent' or something in the threads...Can I work around this ?
P.S. : I might reply back not so soon, but please do ur best !
SunBeam, out...
