I can easily do the tutorial on pointers with Cheat Engine.. but when I try to do pointers on a game or something (Graal - for instance).. I can't seem to do it.

Attachment is one of my tries - maybe you can see i am doing something wrong or something o.o

make sure you put in the offset when you plug in the pointer.

Oh, I see what you're doing wrong, change the address type to doubles, if your address is doubles, make sure your pointer is also doubles.

@up - basically, if you have some knowledge about data types, you can guess which type your searched data will be (f.e. position will probably be flaut). Then, the pointer will be the same type as the addres it points to - am i right?

2nd possibility is that the pointer (as it storages adress) will always be 4-byte (adress is a 00000000 number (4 bytes), cant be 99B73AAA,34 Razz

Well for me it looks like a 'false tray'. I mean you got a set of pointers that point one to another, making a loop. For me it looks like its there to make your work finding some values harder - you mayby chose wrong one of adresses (i guess you found 2 or 3 or more adresses which you start from?).

Try starting from other adress. Other than that i cant help you.
