Is it possible to stop the time with cheat engine?

but what do you mean with time ?
a timer in the game or completly pause the game ? (both are pssible with cheat engine)

in case of completly pause the game go to advanced options and click on the pause button. (or give pause a hotkay in the settings)

In case of a timer inside the game it depends on how the game has implemented the timer.
sometimes it gets the starttime and gets the current time by calling functions like gettickcount and that way get the time passed and update the screen. This method is hard to cheat without any form of codeinjection. (you would have to rewrite the gettime function, or keep on updating the starttime to the current time)

Other times the game just stores the time as a variable, and when time passes it increases the value, and when it's a decreasing timer the value decreases. (but may be different in some games...)

And if you're talking about time in a online game: no! (unless it's a weird online game with a powerup that freezes time and allows you to abuse it)

Hm naw to write something serious, maybe I should write an advanced menu part for the help file when I have the time, or maybe a feature map: Where one can find what one needs in order to do y.

in some games you can stop or slow timers,,

but in online games the server ,,( the player who starts the game )

keeps a record of the timers of each player,

so it makes it difficult to mess with them,,

even so you can try to mess with the timers offline,

if you want to do more with online games you need to get into some programming ,,

.............................

the fastest connection you can afford is worth the money.

and optimizing the speed of your game... if you do it right it feels like cheating..
