it asks for a pass and a pin.
pass can be any length, pin must fit in an int (so <65000)
NOTE:: this is no noob vb6 crackme... it requires very heavy knowledge of encryption and may possibly require re-writing some ASM (alot of ASM) to crack. you will not be able to solve this with just notepad or olly... YOU MUST HAVE BOTH PIN AND PASS AT THE SAME TIME to crack this.
as a hint to make decryption possible:
cl³zm³X³}XXcÍø³qYc}³zmBMX³}m22X}}lm¢¢z³22èXá³qYX³\r}}iá
becomes
"if you are seeing this, you've successfully cracked the password"
when you've gotten the correct combination of pass and pin.
to win: tell me the pass and the pin,
(it will display different output text with each pass and pin input)
if there is STILL no solution given by the end of this week, I'll also put the source of the project up here. I'm still confident that even with sources, this will not be solved.

a calendar, no.
it's a crackme.
you know, where you have to find out certain information about the program to determine the passwords...
</sarcasm>
It's a well designed program... there is a solution.

Ahh, nope.... that's my date manager header file. (I compile ALL my programs using my list of personally made header files... deals with time and timing variables, lists(linked,array.. single entry, double entry, typeless), input manipulation, console manipulation... among other thing)
it also contains an encryption algorythm that I wrote myself.
as an aside, I can submit a "clean" version that only has the actual crackme portion of the code.. but I figured having more to sort through would be closer to a real-world cracking situation.

Xp.
I don't see ANYONE here getting the answer to this any time soon.
more hints to make it easier:
password is 10 characters and forms a word
pin is 4 digits.
as I said before... the pass and pin are not found ANYWHERE in the finished EXE or the orrigional code... and the whole "main.cpp" file has only 8 lines (including the include statments, main's declaration and the returns)... the actualy operation part of this program is only 3 lines.
starting by finding this would generally help:
cl³zm³X³}XXcÍø³qYc}³zmBMX³}m22X}}lm¢¢z³22èXá³qYX³\r}}iá

I gave ESPN the info to assure that the program was, indeed, solvable.
I beleive he will vouch.

The hell?
Aren't you supposed to decrypt your messages before you output them?
That's gay.
