i've been reading the forums for a little bit - checked out some of the crackmes... lots of people have complained that they where all too easy. figured I'd give it a shot since i can't sleep tonight.

threw this thing together in about 10 minutes...

compiled in vcpp and not packed (just for you kasp Wink

)

hard 1. except the exitprocess api call and the place where the "enter password:" is created i cant find any clue Mad

if there is u cant see it becuase it closes too fast :O but it makes cracking easier... i think O_O

go there its a call for the exitprocess api so i bet alil upper the badboy is called...

it has a badboy message, you just need to halt it at the right time to see it -- olly doesn't always like console programs when the end!

run it from the command prompt like a normal program -- see the badboy for yourself Wink

this is my first crackme in a while -- though i did put in something that annoyed the heck out of me when i was cracking way back - it's a nice little mindfuck Wink

atleast a beat the average time of 60 seconds thus far!

uhh i saw the exit process and nop'd it altough i couldnt type another password :O
lemme look up for a bit

btw its an hard 1... or im just a noobish =( gotta follow some olly tutorials first...
