Just wanted to point out...there is one option there could be for float scanning, I believe it does not exist yet.
When using an int value in a float scan it will treat it as a float with 0 max behind the . and therefore round them, however displays of games may not do that. What i mean as an example:
value is 0.30 -> Game displays it as 0, CE will find it if 0 is entered
value is 1.20 -> Game displays it as 1, CE will find it if 1 is entered
however:
value is 1.70 -> Game displays it as 1, CE will find it if 2 is entered
At least this is at the game I tried. Therefore maybe an option for just removing what is behind the . could be made, so that it won't round the numbers. Of course this is completely useless, not important, and probably not worth mentioning but Cheat Engine is already so far developed that there are only minor things that can be improved, which is why i thought I'd point this minor thing out.

I know, that happens when a game uses truncation instead of rounding it down.

But I don't know how to handle this is a good manner in CE. It also happens that a game stores something as 999.9 and shows it as 1000.

I could of course make it so that when you type in 1 it finds everything from 0 to 2 (instead of 0.5 to 1.5 as it does now) but that will give more results.

So, if this is a good idea, or anyone knows a better one, let me know.

Add an option where we can choose to round or not?

I thought of exactly the same thing, but Dark Byte's idea also sounds quiet good (there aren't too many results when doing exact scans anyways so the reduce in efficiency might not be that bad). Well I guess best would be with 3 options like:
Find :
1. round and not round (Dark Byte's idea)
2. round only
3. non-round only
Just maybe it would be too much features for just one scan type...and it might not look to pretty on the gui..?
Well if there was the choise setting round and not round as default would be most user friendly since some people might not know what's up with all that so they'd rather take the one which includes both...or maybe like:
1.round only
2.round and not round (if round only doesn't work)
3.non-round only (only use if you know value isn't being rounded)
I wonder which one would be more user friendly...well first of all Dark byte has to think about what he'll do anyways, if there will even be such a thing as an option...
