hi,
ive been looking in all cheat engines..i dunno if its feasible in yours but here's the idea:
i know you can edit register values when stepping through the code with the debugger...but is it possible to make a hack with your engine that will reproduce that feature?
for example, i have a CMP at a given offset,
is it possible to make a hack that say will modify the JZ register value when the game reach that offset?
it would be wonderful

you could also just replace the instruction in the code. E.g after the cmp there's a "JZ xxxxxxxx" instruction you could change that to "JNZ xxxxxxxx" or a "JMP xxxxxxxx"

i know you can do that.i actually make cheats for multiplayer games, and sometimes the game is protected with anti-cheat software that scans range of offsets for integrity. if an opcode is changed->kick. so i just want to ask if the feature i suggested can be implemented or not from your developer point of view. possible or not?

should be possible yes, but it'll require a active debugger and if the game can detect debuggers it won't matter anyhow.
I've already done something that comes close to it, the option to find out what a specific code write to/reads from, and instead of just reading the registers at that point I think it won't be too difficult to make it write to the registers. I'll see if I can add it in the next version.

thanks for understanding my suggestion, im not very good at explaining things. i agree active debugger-like hacks would not work due to anti-debug protections, unless of course if you manage to hide it (see for example the plugin for ollydb that make it undetectable).
if you manage in some way to allow building of hacks that modify registers at a given offset , then i would be really glad to test that feature and give you feedback

how is going the implementation of this feature? do u think u can make it for next release? just checking cos PB have again updated their scanning range making it a real pain to do hacks
