Depends what you like. Mages are pretty strong, but they have to charge their spells before casting. But if you get enough dex, you can instant-cast, but your damage will be weaker.
Assasins are basically bandits on MS. Fast attackers, can enchant deadly poison and stuff like that.
And there are like Bards and Gunslingers and Warriors and lots more diversity than MS, but I haven't played them all yet. It's a pretty good MMO.
