try to not see them as 'data types' but as storage space and bytes that represent a value.
int is 4 byte signed variable
dword is 4 byte unsigned variable
word is 2 byte unsigned variable
byte is 1 byte unsigned variable
a struct is a row of these types after eachother, usually a pointer to a struct is used.
a pointer is a 4 byte value representing a address. _________________

i know only to work with standart visual basic mode, tho i know there is a way to make a dll.
btw am i right that visual basic is very similiar to delphi?
if so it wont be hard for me to learn delphi.
