Since many of the people out there claim that they have made games and haven't , i got some tips for you here .
It is frustrating seeing people who try to make games start off from one point and end up lost in a jungle full of wild animals .

Firstly
Choosing the "right" language
This is where many people start to struggle in choosing the right language which suits them and is easier to learn for them .
Try one of these and see if they suit you :
C++
Visual Basic
Java

Delphi might help in some parts of developing , but not advised to learn unless you want to increase your knowledge .

I would recommend C or C++ .

Secondly
Compiling/Compilers
What success is your game going to be without a compiler .
I would recommend using BloodShed compiler .
You could use Microsoft Visual C++ , please search this up as you MUST choose a compiler which fits you most !

Lastly
Tips
Here are some helpful tips that will guide you through the making of your new game which is destined to be populer .

Try lots of game and see what the new games incorporate into it .

Get a team as it will make it faster while covering a lot more knowledge .

Finish everything you do before taking rests .
