what does that mean ?

stream read error usually means a problem with reading the scanfiles.
Make sure you have more than 2GB of diskpace left

I have a similer issue. My error code reads Scan error:thread 2:Stream read error. Only started happening when I deleted a huge collection of temp files under the appdata\cheatengine folder that was eating up my HD space. Tried uninstalling CE and installed a newer version from 6.6 to 6.7 . Still getting the same error. I start with 180 Gigs free. Do the byte unknown initial value scan, free space drops to 160 Gigs free. Then a comparison changed or unchanged scan gets about 75% of the way through the scan, and the error pops up.
