I did 'replace with code that does nothing' on the instruciton that reduces player health when hit. Unfortunately it also seems to make enemies invincible too.
How can I modify the below to only affect the player?
on disassembler window right-click the instruction and choose find out what addresses this instruction access, then hit 3-5 enemies and get a hit as well.
from there you whether select all addresses and open them in dissect data / structures ctrl-d and separate your player's health in a different group to find the difference point.
or you can ctrl-r each address from that window were addresses are and see each register and what it contains if enemies registers are different than player's register state then you are good to go and take that register for your compare.
i can see your game is 32bit, so in some point its good for not looking into the new 64bit registers but also a less chance to find a good compare point from looking into 32bit registers. _________________
