could someone help me find the value for talent points in this game, please?

exact value search (x2, x4, x Cool

doesn't work. searching "value between" doesn't work...

and yes, i have firefox as the process.the only other processes i could check are the plugin container and 2 flash process but those came up with no results at all.

and before anyone tries pointing me to that konghack website. that's not going to work because several years ago, i said "why do i come to this site for cheats again?" after they stopped updating the cheats for a game and apparently that was me being pretentious and they permabanned me for it.

i'd try re-registering but IP banned (since my router is one of those with a dynamic IP number) and if anyone tries to use a disposable email, they get permabanned on the spot.

so yeah...F that BS website and the thin skinned hackers there.

tbh, i don't even know if this game was made with unity or something else. it has a unity personal edition splash screen but no 2nd plugin container process. and it's typically any game with that splash screen that cheat engine simply does not work on. obviously, that's quite annoying.

first try every value type, with unknown initial value.

if no luck, then multiply current value by 8 and search for the total sum.

well, i tried searching "unknown value" earlier today and that won't work as that just results in firefox and cheat engine going unresponsive when cheat engine find 350mill+ results on double byte alone.

if its flash game, then just multiply the value by 8 ...
if you have 100 cash multiply it by 8 so result is 800
search for 800 in cheat engine ...

that's just...i am an idiot sometimes. *facepalm* how did i forget to include a link to the game in question? well, we all have our moments i suppose. here's the link.

and that's the thing, it's not flash nor is it unity. well, not exactly. this game doesn't start a 2nd plugin container process like a normal unity game would with firefox.

I've been messing around with it a bit and found that the combo multiplier is a float, and the game appears to be done in javascript.

The value I got for combo multiplier was 4-byte aligned

However, finding talent points was out of my reach. I used a scan of all values with unknown initial value and didn't get anything. Odd

Edit:
I used MS Edge. FF probably treats compiled JS differently

well, i can find some values for the combo multiplier too but nothing i change sticks.

ugh...javascript games are super annoying to cheat in.

another annoying thing with this game is how the dev has all the numbers. there's 3 formats: 1.00e5 = 1.00m, 1.00k2 = 1.00m, and the normal 1.00m (million)

why can't people pick a single format for numbers and just stick with it? why do we need all these needlessly confusing formats for the same thing? i was quite confused when i started seeing 1.00k2 on things. like, wtf is 1.00k2? o_O

it's stupid and pointless.

The XkY format was interesting, and it may have something to do with why we can't find those values. They could be stored separately as number and exponent.

Was able to edit the points that accumulate up to a talent point, which allowed to fast track the talent acquisition.
