I scan for 12 bytes and CE crashed loosing every progress I made.
Can you check what can cause CE to hang on scan?

do you use tabs?
does the aob contain wildcards?
is it a decimal or hexadecimal aob?
do you use spaces between the bytes?
have you tried setting a custom scanfolder?

do you have third party cheat engine extensions installed?

and define the crash. does it just close? error message loop? freeze?

Hello DB.
I just tried to scan for AI instruction. Your Copy as Text to clipboard only copies 1 word - the starting and the others are missing so I used AOB instead of String scan. No message whatsoever. It just found 4 results and it HANG before it showed them I waited for around 5 minutes and had to close it due to "Not responding" message. I wish there can be a dump log. This has happened to me twice so far.. Its not often

I am using the RC2 Version .

btw I did HEX scan

No tabs or wildcards Just scanning what should have been a string

tried the release? rc3 or release did change the 'scandone' event to be more compatible
