I'm modding an old first person shooter. the developers have thought it best to make the actor and weapon of the player invisible to the player, when he is controlling him, it makes them visible if you are just observing the actor from a different camera angle.
with cheat engine i was able to find the part of the code which triggers this and comment it out. now i can see the actor in first person mode. the problem is the animations of the actor make it block the camera frequently while the weapon moves perfectly no matter what.
i want to go deeper into the code and find where the actor model and weapon model are made visible so i can stop the actor model from becoming visible. my starting point would be the code that triggers the whole thing, the one i commented out with code injection, i tried to follow the code by reading it but i dont know what to look for.
if i could run the lines one by one [step through the code] then i could just keep going till i see the models appear and then i would know where to modify. so is there a way to do this?

Set a breakpoint (F5) and then step it I guess ( F7 and F8 )

press F9 for the game to resume after breakpoint has been hit.
Removing a breakpoint does not make the processus resume its code execution.
