Hi
I feel bad already for asking this question because hours of searching has shown be that you guys must hate when people do .. because it is the same question over and over. However, I didn't find a solution to my specific situation so I am hoping you can excuse me.
To keep it very short and sweet; in my game there is a shop menu. You can change the value of the items and then purchase them successfully for the edited value. However ofcourse the address changes everytime you reload the game.
I have attempted to use the pointer scanner at level 5 (tried upping it but it killed the game) but there were 0 results on the second scan.
I also attempted using what writes and what accesses .. however nothing was shown as writing to it, the values never change so I suppose that makes sense. When I open the menu there is a log for 'what accesses...' but there is no offset, it is rather "movups xmm0, [r15]" and the pointer it suggests does not seem to hold any relevance.
What I did find was that the store items have an offset of D0 (208) from eachother, so item one for example was AE7D58B0 and item 2 AE7D5A50 and so on. This remained true through every restart (the offset.. not the addresses).
You can't always find static pointers for every game for every cheat for every situation.
Sorry I don't understand, injecting code is no problem but without an address or any way to find the values without manually searching for them I don't know how I would use code injection to my advantage
I am currently injecting a dll into the game and changing other values and opcodes and want to change the store prices also from this dll without any manual input.
