|
|
I have the following code:
Code: |
(some code that defines and populates threshold)
push ecx
mov ecx,#850000
cmp [threshold],ecx
jae threached
pop ecx
...
jmp return
threached:
pop ecx
...
jmp return
|
but it doesn't work because "threshold", that was defined as a symbol in CE script, holds the value of memory that has a pointer and it is the value that this pointer points to that I want to compare to 850000. In other words, "threshold" is a pointer to a pointer.
How do I retrieve the value pointed by a pointer to a pointer so that I can compare it to 850000?
Thank you!
UPDATE: after some heavy google searching, problem is solved. I just have to de-reference it twice.
