So im trying to form a small group of gamer's with specific skills to help with a project of mine but my problem is that i have no idea where to even look to recruit people, at the least to do so effectively.

Right. I have finally decided to start a rather big project that i had in mind for a while now. So for the project i wanted to form a small tight knit group to work on it with. As of now im currently looking for a decent writer and artist, but i have no idea how to go about recruiting people nor do i know where to start look.

First consider what you have to offer prospective recruits. If there is pay involved then that could certainly be motivational in any location relative to your project. If there is no pay then perhaps people would be able to use involvement in this project on a resume and they would be very interested in what the end goal is and how they could expect it to turn out. If it is a fan project then you may be able to get help from dedicated fans within respective communities. Since there are so many different variables that's why it would really depend on the details of the project.

More details, as said, and also what's considered a decent writer? I've been working on a project as a co-author for more than a year now and everyone who's read the work likes it. You can see a sampling of it in the links in my sig.

OP posted about where to find a writer and artist, I've been writing, but nothing published yet. I could be interested in the project if I knew more about it and op thinks my work is decent enough, have to link samples since I don't know what he considers such.
