I've noted that 'cmp' indicates compare, but what exactly is it's purpose for comparing 2 lots of bytes to begin with?
in my case, the code keeps changing slightly every single time the game is reset. What can be done to disable a compare function, so that we only need to edit 1 set of bytes instead of 2 sets?
-------------------
Code:
cmp rax,[r8+08]
--------------------
Does the cmp function prevent something from being modified?
noted that 'mov' copies(?) bytes into memory, or does it copy them to some other location?
Does this mean the mov function places the cmp offset into a different location to compare from?
-------------------
Code:
mov rax,[r8]
--------------------
Thanks for the help with these questions. Much appreciated
