What did he do that was offensive? The video title "Trump Pretended to Speak Japanese During Prime Minister's Visit" is clickbait. His ear piece was off for a few minutes while Abe was speaking, he didn't "pretend to speak Japanese" at all.

Speaking/knowing a language IS THE SAME THING. Because you need to know a language to speak it dumbass. His ear piece wasnt off for a few minutes, it was for almost the entirety of what Shinzo Abe had to say. Like David said in the video, whatever Shinzo Abe had to say is irrelevant to Trump anyways.

It's not the same thing.
Do you think actors in hollywood actually learn a whole language before shooting a scene, or do they just memorize some lines that are fed to them by the director?
