|
|
I have done some research on how to use ngen, but I still can't use it correctly.
In VS Developer Command Prompt, I typed in the following:
Code: | ngen install app.exe |
But it only gave me the following message: All compilation targets are up to date.
I want to compile my C# .exe file to native code or something that won't be easily opened by de-compilers.
So, my questions are:
1. Does ngen further compile .exe file into native code?
2. If so, how to use ngen correctly?
3. Where is the output file, the one that is produced by ngen?
Thanks a lot.
Upate:
I found something called .net Native, but it seems .net Native only works on Win10.
