It can't be more than 2.5 years old. It's a lenovo...Should I send it in or reformat or what because the original cost was around 570$. It's been shutting down everyday for about 3-4 months now. It goes to a BSOD basically, but instead it's a black screen with an error. _________________

could it be overheating? i had a fan break and just the fan breaking would shut it down with a bsod. and then it would autoshutdown from overheating (but no bsod for that iirc).
it could also be a bad harddrive. that'll happen, usually kind of the easiest thing to fix if it's not a driver issue or something of that sort.
Do clean your CPU parts like motherboard, SMPS, etc. Dust will also cause these issues in some cases. You had better check all possible ways before going for a service.
