Ive thought about messing with the GNU binutils myself, I even thought of pushing it onto Android, The Android NDK toolchain provides for it but in the wrong format. Devices need them in ELF 32bit executable for ARM.

. However I read more into pointers and found out quite a bit that I didnt know because they have been made easy ever since the GameHack days.. I kinda got babied through them because of how easy memory editors made them to deal with.. and if I figure out how to point without going through it the hard way ( i.e find the address, close game and find same game value again and see how far it moved.. and calculate it 004001e4 to 004001e8)

Im going to try server ce in a few, but where is "git" version?

a recent build of that is at http://cheatengine.org/temp/ceserver08042015.zip
because the protocol has changed you'll also have to use the latest ce build. try thge one at https://1e97ecfb19139e5335995ff96bb835d04ab12791.googledrive.com/host/0BwMAnE6mjogMTmpYMGstY1NPQnc/

tip: scan for the address with the app(faster)

if you use debugging, then keep in mind you'll have to restart ceserver when you want to debug another process , or when ce loses the connection.

as for binutils i was more talking about running them on windows (enough crosscompiling binaries available)
and there are some builds for android , but google made a real mess with their PIE shit.
Old systems don't support PIE, and new systems only allow PIE , so apps that use it should bundle both versions making their APK 100+ MB (i guess someone could setup an online service that assembles scripts online and return the binary data which apps can use)

The whole concept is cool but I could do so much more investigating if I still had my laptop, I am doing everything from my phone and its so aggrevating getting anything done but this thing is a monster, I can hack almost any game, network, computer, website and its even set up to create fake phishing websites..

the android version may take a while though as i keep getting distracted with stuff. CE should see a release soonish (assuming i can stop adding new stuff and fix the other things)

speedhack works sometimes when used with CE on android
but you will need libceserver-extension as well

Is this still unavailable for bluestacks? I have the rooted version of bluestacks and have been trying to install the APK, but it doesn't appear to be installing at all.

This android app definitely has potential, great work as always!

Two bugs make it very difficult to use though:

(1) Scrolling in the address list crashes the app. In effect, address lists longer than than the height of the window cannot be used, forcing constant table switching.

(2) Pointers to pointers don't work (and even crash the app), forcing constant researching for already solved problems.

A "view as hex" option would be very useful too. If we could view as hex, we could at least manually copy and paste between first degree pointers as a workaround for (2).

Really looking forward to seeing these fixed and the next version!

Thanks, I wish I would have known about this version!

It fixed scroll crash. Browse memory from the address list now works too, neat.

Pointers to pointers are still broken.
