|
|
Hi there, there are two empty areas under the name "value %" when I do a "decreased value by..." search option after checking the "at least xx%." It's not clear to me what this option mean so I guest it means if a value I am scanning has decreased by 50%, I would put the number 50 in the search empty area - but then there are two empty areas, so I am not sure what I should put down in the first or second area.
I did an experiment, and neither putting 50 in the first nor second area will help me find any result - in fact if I leave the first area empty it will tell me to put something in it...

it's a percentage range as it's pretty hard to guess the correct percentage.
e. g it might in fact be 49.998% so a scan for just 50 wouldn't find it.
instead, you should scan for 49.5 and 50.5 (if you're really that sure)
now, one thing to keep in mind is that this scan uses the last value to compare against
so if you had 100 in the previous scan and it decreased by 50% the new value would be 50. and if that decreases by 50% the new value is 25!!
To save you from that headache it is recommended to use the "compare to first scan" method, so it will compare the current value against the original value
