|
|
Greetings.
I have scoured through this tutorials page and googled for a few days now on the subject of how to actually make a cheat engine table.
I have used CE for many years and know how to modify running processes. I've gone through the tutorial and things like this --- but I am still lost on how to actually create a cheat table.
I would like to contribute cheat tables for games and be able to save what I make when I find values in a game - but cant figure out how.
The address for values always changes when you reload a game of course, so how to make a cheat table that automatically detects the location of the values again is still a mystery.
I've opened many of the CT (cheat table) files i have for various games, and I understand how they are constructed. Basically XML files with definitions of labels and instruction sets - but i cant figure out how to begin finding those actual values and memory offsets.
Thanks for any help.

Browse the forums for topics related to array of bytes (signature scanning, pattern scanning, etc.) these topics cover how to refind blocks of game functions to relocate important data each restart of the game.
