I'm using cheat engine to read a few things from a game, although they have made it very complicated as there does not appear to be any strict memory pointers. I've managed to consistently find the new memory locations by using the assembly code to find the new memory location. I'm interested in how cheat engine actually scans the assembly and then find's what a given address writes to, and would appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of the files in the source so that I can learn how they managed to accomplish this.
