When I'm trying to inlude (require) the lfs I'm getting:
Error:error loading module 'lfs' from file '(path)\clibs\lfs.dll':
%1 is not a valid Win32 application.
Please help me. I'm trying to backup the saves of a game, without using shellExecute (because each time I execute the xcopy command via the shellExecute it pops me out of the game)

Is the ifs.dll for 32-bit or 64-bit ? If 32-bit, you must run the 32-bit cheat engine
also, io.open and then read/write the file to a different file might be easier

Thanks a lot! It is working now.
That's what I was planning on doing anyway (io.open read and write). But there are several save files and have unknown names, that's why I need to be able to use the lfs.dir. Also, I want to place each backup on a separate folder that's why I need the lfs.mkdir.
My copy function is:
Code: | local function copyfile(source,destination)
source = assert(io.open(source,"rb"))
destination = assert(io.open(destination,"wb"))
destination:write(source:read("*a"))
destination:close()
source:close()
end |
