Cheat Engine

I am begining programmer curious about the design of the games I have been playing for years. I have only humble intentions at Cheat Engine.

I have not downloaded becuase my anti spywhere software could not identify the author of CE. What I need is for several veteran CE users to confirm that CE does not have an alternative motive on my computer.

As far as I know CE doesn't do anything else then what it was designed for

I would just like to thank you for bringing that topic up because i had the exact same questions and worries. ( Only 1 person I talked to has said that it can crash ur computer). Very Happy

Yes, I wrote Cheat engine.

And about crashing, that can only happen if you 'explicitly' enable the options in settings->extra and then mess up the kernel memory.
See it like brain surchery, with cheat engine and those settings, you have exposed windows' brains. One wrong move and you kill windows.
But it's not a permanent crash, just a blue screen and a reboot and you're back to normal.

ce is fine nothing bad in it will not hurt your pc and if you dont like it you can easly remove it the same as every other program Wink
