go and study some graphic design basics, will help you lots ;3
you are not making art with signatures, (( unless you draw all in them ))
graphic design is meant to communicate through images.
everything needs a meaning to be good. meaningless things will never be good.

First one: Its random. Maybe lower the opacity of the gradient map..
Second: Its ok, nice try to fitting the render in the c4ds. maybe desaturate it.
