On my XP computer, I can use trainers that require the two extra files with the names of:
AxInterop.ShockwaveFlashObjects.dll
and
Interop.ShockwaveFlashObjects.dll
But on this laptop with Vista 64-bit, as soon as I open the trainers, I get the "(Trainer name) has stopped working" error.
I have .NET framework 3.5 installed. I've tried reinstalling it, repairing it, nothing. I have 37 trainers that require those files, so that would be considered a "loss" in my book...
Does someone know how to fix this?? |

Why would you even install Vista? It is official that it is one of the worst OS's available. But sorry, I don't have an answer to your question. _________________

i dont have really an asnwer for that but ..
May try re-/install Shockwave player
or deinstall .netframework 3.5 and install .netframework 3.5 SP1,because
i use this and many other use that to i think
So its possible that you need .netframework sp1 ^^
but pls dont flame at me , i only try to help as good as i can _________________

Update to the problem: I tried to run a trainer for a game called "A Koopa's Revenge" (don't ask), and I got the image shown below.
Is there a place where I can install the missing component? |

I believe that the trainer is 32-Bit and your OS uses 64-Bit OS.
Not 100% certain.... |

Got windows vista 64 bit & a trainer problem?
Go to 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash' and copy the flash10.ocx or flash9.ocx file and put it in the same folder as your crappy trainer.
-Jorg Hi
EDIT: when you copy it rename it to 'flash.ocx' if it still won't work. _________________

-Jorg Hi |
There's no "Macromed" or "Macromedia" folder in my System32 folder... |

Search your computer for 'flash'
edit: Or download flash10.ocx/flash9.ocx then? _________________

When I search my computer for flash, I don't get anything related to the files we're looking for.
Even using Google, I can't really find a spot to download flash10.ocx or flash9.ocx
Besides, I have one called flash.ocx downloaded, don't I just need to put it in a certain spot, considering the exact words of the error I got (seen above)? |

Weirder AL, you don't get what I'm trying to say...
The trainer is 32-BIT and Vista is 64-BIT, therefore your problem is created.... |

Oh. Err...And that means we really can't solve this problem?
(I'm gonna have to make Long List of Trainer Requests 2 in the Flash forum then) |
