U could add a couple brushes and an outer glow to the guy.

I don't think you're in any position to be giving photoshop advice (especially when the advice you're giving would most likely ruin the picture)
@OP, it looks pretty good. I like the effects that you used, but you should probably add a visible border to the second picture. It looks way too plain.

Take a screen shot and render it yourself, it's not that hard to render it just takes a little while.

Thanks. You can also do a cool flamey effect if you put the render under all the other layers.
