OK, I know floats store decimal values and stuff, and doubles just store a larger number, but how would I search for a value like, 200, if it's stored in a double or float in some WIERD number like 3.189287958172145 or something. Much less change it.
I checked the helpfile with Cheat Engine, not too much help on that particular subject, so... anyone got some free time to make a tutorial on how to find, and change wierd float/double values?

From my experience, games mainly use floats instead of doubles. I may be wrong, but I never ran into a double.
I'm not sure what you were saying about storing 200 in a weird number like 3.1829795. Are you asking how you would search for a decimal number if you don't know it's exact value, when you only know it's around 200? If that's what you mean, then try searching ranges, this is something that isn't implemented in Cheat Engine, but you can just do this:
1. search initial float or double value GREATER than 199
2. search next float or double value LESS than 201
And of course if you want to change your range, just change the greater than and less than values. I hope that's what you mean...

and if you mean the value 200 stored in a weird way, e.g somewhere in the center of a 4 byte value, you can use a binary scan for the decimal value of 200
also, doubles are often used in flash games

and regarding ranges and floats
for extreme rounded: if you fill in 200 it will returns everything from 199 to 201
for truncated: if you fill in 200 it'll return everything between 200 and 201
rounded default: if you fill in 200 it'll return everything between 199.5 and 200.5
Also, theres a bug in ce where the extreme rounded doesn't work for a next scan double

ooh, thanks for the tip. That's much better than running separate searches.
