Hi, if anyone can help, it would be great...
I have a problem making the cheats persistent in the Game Sacred (I'm using CE 4.4.)

Firstly I find the addresses to change the needed value and it works 100%. Smile
I understand that with DMA that these addresses will change, so I followed the method in the included tutorial and found the addresses that point to these addresses. Which also works 100%. Smile
(These are the steps I followed:
1. Found out which code writes to the address
2. Search for the address of the pointer which points to the address making the change.
3. Manually add the Pointer and taking the offset into account.
4. Test the newly added Pointer.
)
Now comes my problem:
Everytime I reload the game, the pointers become invalid Confused
What am I doing wrong? Are the pointers dynamically allocated?, and if so, how do I go about making the tables persistent for all instances of the game.

If anyone can help, please post.

I dont have this game so I might be wrong but it may be a game where the code that you wish to change is not in the main exe but in a seperate dll. I have a tutorial that may help..

You'll have to find the pointer to the pointer. and make it a double pointer. or even a tripple pointer.

sometimes you even get 6 or 7 pointers inbetween till you get the base pointer. (base pointer is the pointer that's always located at the same location in memory)
